Happy Birthday Alex....

Al Poger.
What can I say about him?
He was very sharp.
He was very funny
He could be very sarcastic,
He was very good at calling it like he saw it.
He was about 280 lbs and asthmatic....
Tomorrow would have been his birthday if he'd
gone to the doctor a bit more maybe, exercised
a bit more maybe.....
He's been gone about 1.5 years now, and he's still
regularly on my mind (and indeed on a number of minds...).
Could I learn a lesson from him? Sure...Have I ....
well I still hear his voice in my head, when we where
sitting around sorta kinda doing something, but nothing
exciting he'd say.... I could be gaining levels right now...
Heah.
I wonder if he'd hate or be impressed with my CoH characters

He was a good, but directionless guy. He wanted to do stuff
but he never felt he was 'ready' ...
If I take one lesson from his life it should probably be to
NOT WAIT...Do some of that stuff you want to do because
as they say, It's always later then you think :).

Live your lives! No one else will .

Have a great weekend folks, Get out there and Enjoy it!

Hey...I think I may have known Alex. We were friends through a mutual friend (Ken A.) and I've wondered what ever happened to Alex. Did he live in Rego Park near 68th Street? If so, I'm very saddened to know that he's no longer with us...
